Julia Ormond accepts the Conscious Humanitarian Award from the Living Wellness Foundation - Sounds of the Sacred Awards Gala, Los Angeles

The awards gala on the 15th serves as a kick-off for the Sounds Of The Sacred, Songs Of The Earth All-Day Outdoor Festival & Sunset Concert which the Living Wellness Foundation will once again share with the Los Angeles community on Sunday, September 18th. The festival and concert are a part of the World Festival Of Sacred Music Los Angeles, initiated by His Holiness The Dalai Lama in 1999.

Other invited honorees include His Holiness The Dalai Lama for his profound vision for world peace, as well as the monk Kunzang Rinpoche, the 'Tibetan Treasure Finder' and Mae Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta, the revered female spiritual leader of Thailand, who is working with women and children to break the cycle of violence all over the world.
